Prof. Ming Jiang Sun Yat-sen University, China Ming Jiang received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electronic engineering from the South China University of Technology (SCUT), China, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Southampton, U.K. He has substantial international and industrial experience with Fortune 500 telecom companies. From 2006 to 2013, he had held key research/development or executive positions at Samsung Electronics Research Institute (SERI), U.K., Nortel Networks' research and development center, China, and the telecom equipment maker New Postcom, China, where he actively participated in numerous collaborative projects across the EU, North America and Asia, contributing to algorithm and system research and standardization, as well as radio access and core network product designs. Since June 2013, he has been a Full Professor and a Ph.D. Supervisor with Sun Yat-sen University, China, where he focuses on both fundamental research and technology transfer, and leads a number of national, provincial and industrial research projects. He has coauthored six books, 90+ articles, 100+ patents and 400+ 3GPP/IEEE standardization contributions. He received several Chinese local council awards in 2011 and 2022, including Innovative Leading Talents, Outstanding Experts, and Top Overseas Scholars. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE. |
Prof.Vagun Hou Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China Hou Weigang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Communication, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and vice president of the Institute of Intelligent Communication and Network Security (Special Research Zone). Winner of the National Science Foundation for Outstanding Young People, Chongqing "Talent Program" young top-notch talent. His research interests include optical network and optical communication, optical data center and photonic neural network accelerator. It has completed more than 10 projects including national key research and development plan, National Natural Science Foundation, and JW Science and Technology Committee. He has published more than 400 papers in IEEE international journals and conferences, and several cooperative papers have been selected as ESI highly cited papers, and won IEEE Systems Journal 2019 Best Journal Papers. Prof. Shiling Zhang State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company Chongqing Electric Power Research Institute, China Zhang Shiling, Senior engineer, Doctor of Engineering, is currently the director of Science and Technology management, physical and chemical testing technology, Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company. Long engaged in high voltage and insulation technology, physical and chemical testing technology research and production work. He is a full-time key researcher of State Grid Provincial Laboratory of Chongqing Electric Power Company and Key Provincial and ministerial Laboratory of Chongqing, member of IEEE Sub-Committee on New Sensing and Monitoring Technology, member of Insulation Materials and Insulation Technology Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Electrotechnical Engineering, member of high voltage Sub-committee of Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering. The development of UHV dry converter transformer bushing and SF6 gas insulation through-wall bushing have been applied to the construction of UHV AC/DC engineering. Presided over the completion of GIS fault detection sensor technology and system, won the Outstanding Innovation Achievement Award of the International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo, and awarded the title of Outstanding Scientist by Chongqing Society of Electrical Engineering. As the first author, he has published more than 90 SCI/EI retrieval papers in domestic and foreign journals and international top academic conferences, and 18 Chinese core journals of Peking University. His innovation achievements have won 9 provincial and ministerial awards, such as the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award and the special first prize of China Water Conservancy and Electric Power Quality Management Association, and accepted 1 international invention patent. He has authorized 20 national invention patents and utility models, 18 software Copyrights, more than 20 international and domestic conference reports, and presided over 2 provincial and ministerial projects of basic frontier and 3 science and technology projects of the headquarters of State Grid Corporation as the project leader. |
